Match the clean to the project stage
A rough clean while work continues is different from a final clean before handover. Tell us which trades are still active, the expected completion date and any access requirements. If later work introduces new dust, a return touch-up visit should be discussed rather than assumed.
Protect the finished surfaces
New finishes need attention to their material and condition. Identify sensitive flooring, windows and fixtures during the walkthrough. Window cleaning and specialty floor treatments can be included in the discussion as specific line items. Heavy debris removal, hazardous materials and repairs are not assumed to be part of a cleaning quote.
